What is the objective of the campaign?
The objective of the campaign, which is funded by the Department under the Dormant Accounts Fund and is in line with the National Policy on Social Enterprise, aims to educate key stakeholders as to what social enterprise is and the myriad of social and economic benefits it brings to Dublin.
When does it launch?
The campaign ‘Get Social Dublin, Invest in your Community’ is due to launch on the 10th May and will utilise PR, radio advertising, videos, podcasts and social media to profile social enterprise in Dublin by telling the stories of a number of exceptional businesses in the capital. The themes covered in the campaign are Inclusion/Diversity; Sustainability; Addiction/probation/homelessness; Community and Health and Wellbeing.
What’s involved?
The campaign will be calling on people and the wider business community to support social enterprises by buying a product or service, offering their time as a volunteer or as a business investing in the enterprise to enable greater growth and profits to be reinvested into their social objectives and the community they serve.
We appreciate the ongoing support towards the work we do to support social enterprises in Dublin. We look forward to getting the campaign underway and shining a light on the many great social enterprises there are around us!
